Medium for fighting and inactivating harmful microorganisms comprises a synergistic mixture comprising anionic surfactants and the juice of citrus fruits of the Rutaceae family as active components and also nonionic surfactants, hydrotropic agent from toluene sulfonate and/or cumene sulfonate as sodium or potassium salt and aliphatic primary or secondary 2-8C monovalent alcohols as aids. Medium for fighting and inactivating harmful microorganisms comprises a synergistic mixture comprising anionic surfactants, comprising alkyl sulfonates and/or alkyl aryl sulfonates or sulfates or their sodium, potassium or ammonium salts with prim 8-18C chains and/or alkyl-(8-15C)-polyglycol ether-(1-3 EO)-sulfates, and the juice of citrus fruits of the Rutaceae family, e.g. lemon, orange and/or grapefruit, which are free of flesh and of pH 2.0-5.0, as active components and also nonionic surfactants from nonylphenol polyglycol-(2-18 EO)-ether, hydrotropic agent from toluene sulfonate and/or cumene sulfonate as sodium or potassium salt and aliphatic prim. or sec. 2-8C monovalent alcohols as aids.
