The edge formation for a flat inclined roof involves a continuous roof holding profile screwed to the roof, to which H-shaped roof edge holders are fixed via roller bearings adjustable according to the roof inclination. On a roof-side flange rib a roof strip holding profile is secured. An outer flange head and foot formations are provided, via which a roof edge termination profile is secured. The angular, continuous roof edge holding profile locating with the roof flange on the roof (8) is connected with the roof by screws (9). On the roof locating flange an upwardly directed rib (1.2) is formed in one piece, which has a part-circular shape (1.3) with a groove-shaped formation, which together with an insertable closure piece forms a roller-shaped link. The roof edge holder (2) rotates to adjust to the roof inclination.
