tobacco industry. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has nozzles, collector and feeding conveyor. Nozzles are adapted for filling tobacco bales with moistening liquid at an angle to bale layer. Nozzles are introduced through the whole length of bale. Nozzles are made arced, with center being disposed on oscillation axis of collector lever. Feeding conveyor is combined with wetting conveyor. Method provides preparing of tobacco raw material for cutting process. EFFECT: increased efficiency by uniform moistening of tobacco bales and enhanced reliability in operation. 1 dwg
