SUBSTANCE: method includes sealing-up interior of compartment for isolating it from surrounding medium and equalizing the external and internal pressures. The patch with flexible edges is applied over hole and is secured to its edges. Water is evacuated from compartment by supplying the gaseous medium under pressure with branch pipe available in lower portion of compartment open, after which hole is finally repaired. EFFECT: increased buoyancy due to stopping flooding through hole with underway.
