SUBSTANCE: method involves using two hermetically sealed tanks; grinding raw plant material; providing obtained product discharge cycle, basic raw material charging cycle and grinding cycle in second tank upon termination of grinding cycle and during thermal treatment cycle, but no later than upon termination of cycle in one of tanks. Apparatus has electric drive with drive shaft and grinding-and-cooking unit containing tank with hermetically sealed cover, charging funnel, cutting mechanism mounted in bottom part of tank on vertical shaft, which is kinematically connected with electric drive, separator, separating circular disk and steam separator. Apparatus is equipped with second grinding-and-cooking unit. Drive shaft of electric drive is mounted in parallel with vertical shaft of cutting mechanisms of two grinding-and-cooking units and is kinematically connected with these units via adjustable clutches. Cutting mechanism of grinding-and-cooking units is equipped with centrifugal extruder. Method and apparatus may be used for producing soya bean milk by grinding and thermal treatment of soya beans.
