PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system with an improved utilization factor of a fuel cell in regard to a fuel cell system provided with a fuel cell and a secondary battery. SOLUTION: A value is determined by removing charging electric power to a secondary battery 24 from a required load signal S30b representing a value required to a load current S29, and a target electric power generation of a fuel cell 21 is calculated based upon this value. Therefore, because charging electric power is not supplied to the secondary battery 24 in a state charged to a normal upper limit, a reduction in a utilization factor of the fuel cell 21, an overcharge of the secondary battery 24 are prevented, and loosing control of the fuel cell 21 are prevented. Also, charging electric power is supplied to the secondary battery 24 in a state discharged to a normal lower limit and discharge electric power is never outputted from this secondary battery 24. Therefore, an over discharge of the secondary battery 24 is prevented. |
