<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use a resin covered flexible pipe over a long period even in a high-temperature and high-humidity atmosphere. SOLUTION: This flexible pipe comprises a metallic flexible pipe 1 covered with a resin layer 2. In this case, the resin layer is formed from a resin material selected from among a polyethylene base resin blended with nylon 61, nylon 11, nylon 12, a fluororesin, and rubber; a crosslinked polyethylene base resin; soft polypropylene having an oxidation inhibitor added thereto by 3000 to 5000 ppm; and a polyethylene base resin having an oxidation inhibitor added thereto by 8000 to 10000 ppm, and including at least one kind selected from among an ethylene-vinyl-acetate copolymer, an ethylene-acrylic acid ethyl copolymer, and an ethylene-methacrylic acid methyl copolymer, or the blend of them.</p> |
