摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tube alignment device which is adapted to an automatic welding machine and capable of appropriately align and fix a tube during the welding when the inside diameter of tubes to be butt-welded is different from each other by providing an expansion member having the radially dimensional difference according to the differential inside diameter of the tube, and providing a backing member of the outer circumferential shape abutted on an inner circumferential cylindrical surface of one tube and an inner circumferential cylindrical surface of the other tube of a butted welded part. SOLUTION: After a tube alignment device 30 is fixed, an air cylinder 37 is operated, and a piston rod 33 is moved in the X direction. When the air cylinder 37 is moved in the X direction, an expansion member guide shaft 34 is radially moved in the B direction. A pressing part presses an inner wall of both tubes except a tapered part. The height of the pressing part in contact with an inner wall of a small diameter tube 16 of the expansion member 36 of U-shaped section is set to the smaller than the pressing part in contact with an inner wall of a large diameter tube 14 by one half of the difference between inside diameters, and thus, the inner walls of both tubes 14, 16 can be pressed with equal pressure, the axes of the tubes 14, 16 are agreed with each other, and end parts are arranged in position.
