PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make realizable the formation of an image wherein an image unevenness is eliminated even by using an inexpensively driving motor in an image forming device in which the recording picture element density of a digital copying machine is high. SOLUTION: When a latent image is formed laser beam (the number of the laser beam is (k)) with required picture element density (p) on a photoreceptive drum 3 (diameter (r)), in a case that a motor 10 is a two-phase stepping motor (the pulse number of one rotation of the motor is (n)), and the gear 11 of an output shaft and the gear 12 of the rotary shaft of the photoreceptive drum 3 are directly meshed, the rotation moving amount L(L=πr/ mX:1/X is a reduction ratio) of the photoreceptive drum 3 per one pulse of the motor 10 is set to be a reciprocal-of-an-integer multiple of a write-in scanning pitch (D). The write-in scanning pitch of the laser beam and the rotation moving amount L of the photoreceptive drum 3 are set to be same, and picture element formation by the radiation of the laser beam is executed by the same phase even though the rotational speed of the motor 10 is fluctuated, so that the pitch between respective picture elements is made constant and the fluctuation of image density is eliminated. |
