<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize an amount of scraps by welding a rupture sutured portion to a plastic layer in a rear surface of a molded instrument panel and a hard plastic. SOLUTION: A mold 50 specifies a cavity 56 together with mold portions 52, 54 and molds a preform 56. A welding tool 58 has a structure for a rupture sutured portion 62 brought into contact with a rear surface 61 of the preform 56. The portion 62 is welded into the surface 61 to decide a positioning size together with a residual region of the instrument panel. When the portion 62 is formed, a flap structure 10 having a hinge 12 is mounted at the surface 61, and an air bag module 14 is mounted so as to provide a structure 31. The panel is formed of a single layer of a hard plastic, and the portion 62 is elongated into a rear hard skin layer of a foam layer of a base of a soft plastic layer as a decorative layer. Thus, since the panel is molded in a casting mold, scrap components are more reduced.</p> |
