PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a polymerizable composition for a membrane excellent in liquid permeability and capable of retaining the ability to selectively adsorb a protein, etc., for a long term by incorporating a non-crosslinkable polymer, a hydrophobic crosslinked polymerizable compound, a functional-group-containing polymerizable compound, a solvent which dissolves them and allows the gelation of a crosslinked polymer obtained by crosslinking polymerization, and a non-solvent. SOLUTION: This composition comprises a non-crosslinkable polymer (A) such as a polysulfone, a hydrophobic crosslinking-polymerizable compound (B) such as a (meth)acrylic ester of an epoxy resin, a functional-group-containing polymerizable compound (C) such as (meth)acrylamide, a solvent (E) which dissolves component A, component B, and component C and allows the gelation of a crosslinked polymer (D) obtained by crosslinking-polymerizing component B with component C, and a non-solvent which does not dissolve component A. The mixing ratio among the respective components is such that the ratio A/B/C/E is (10-35)/(1-20)/(0.1-20)/(50-85) by weight. The composition is formed into a film, and this film is crosslinking-polymerized by irradiation with an actinic radiation.
