PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain uniformly sharp directivity over a broad frequency band. SOLUTION: A plurality of microphone arrays 71-74 exhibiting narrow directivity over different frequency bands are configured by a plurality of microphone elements 11-15. Each of filters 81-88 extracts only signals with frequency bands denoting narrow directivity among output signals of the microphone arrays 71-74 and an adder 90 sums the extracted signals. Thus, the adder 90 outputs a signal by summing only the signals with frequency bands convenient to collect by the microphone arrays 71-74. Then the microphone system realizes uniformly sharp directivity over a broad frequency band from a low frequency band to a high frequency band.
