PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell capable of smoothly vaporizing and supplying liquid fuel with a simple structure without using a pump or a blower or the like and providing stable and high output. SOLUTION: In this fuel cell having an electrolyte plate 1, an oxidizer electrode 3 and a fuel electrode 2 provided on faces opposing this electrolyte plate 1, and a liquid fuel holding part 6 holding fuel supplied to the fuel electrode 2, gaseous fuel is introduced to the fuel electrode 2 without using a pump or a blower by vaporizing the fuel held by the liquid fuel holding part 6 with reaction heat of a cell reaction. |
