PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily recognize internal information even without a display device by printing an internal information display image for indicating one or more of the internal information of an electronic camera associated with a printing image or independent of the printing of the printing image. SOLUTION: When a shutter button is pressed, digital data equivalent to the entire screen of an area sensor are fetched to a RAM. Continuously, the contents of the RAM are printed out as a monitor printing image. When a prescribed button is pressed, backlight correction signals are outputted to a diaphragm control circuit and the diaphragm of an iris is made larger than normal. As the result, when the shutter button is pressed while pressing the button, a backlight corrected object image is fetched to the RAM. Battery service life display 88 indicates that a battery is about to be used up. When the battery runs short further and becomes a level that the image quality of a print-out screen can not be guaranteed, the two pieces of the battery service life display 88 are printed. A heating alarming comment 70 is printed when the head temperature of a thermal printer becomes too high. |
