PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a punch press with which tool selecting time for tools on a cartridge is shortened and also to make cartridge changing possible without interrupting working. SOLUTION: The cartridge 7 on which plural tools are mounted is fixed to a main-body frame 2 with cartridge fixing means 28. The tool on these fixed cartridges 7 is selected and struck by the movement of press heads 8. The cartridges 7 are movable in the state of a cartridge connected body 22 of plural cartridges. While some cartridges 7 of the cartridge connected boby are used for working, other cartridges 7 are replaced with the outboad cartridges by separating from this body. On tables 3, 4, a metal plate is fed in two directions orthogonally crossed by a metal-plate feeding means.
