PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a blade rubber which is improved in wiping performance and is to be inexpensive. SOLUTION: A blade rubber 7 is formed to have a wiping surface press part 7d the cross-sectional shape of which is an inverse isosceles triangle and the top part 7d4 of which is pressed to a wiping surface. The parting line PL of a split molding mold 60 is selected at a position passing through one of two side walls 7d2, 7d3 forming the equilaterals of the press part 7d to be a position offset from the top part 7d4, and the blade rubber 7 is molded by the mold 60.
