PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image formation device and an image formation method capable of forming images on both faces of a sheet with high throughput. SOLUTION: Toner images on two pages, for example, toner images corresponding to images on the second page and the fourth page are formed on an intermediate transfer belt 46, and each toner image is sequentially transferred on rear surfaces of two sheets supplied into a secondary transfer region R2 by a paper supply part 63. Moreover, two sheets on which images are formed on the rear surfaces only in this way are switch-back conveyed by a paper discharge part 64. In parallel to this operation, toner images corresponding to images on the first page and the third page are formed on the intermediate transfer belt 46. The two sheets are conveyed into the secondary transfer region R2 again through a paper resupply part 66 and the paper supply part 63 to transfer images on surfaces of each sheet sequentially. |
