PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make even an inexperienced operator or a blind handicapped person easily perform restoring work when abnormalities such as a paper jam are generated. SOLUTION: An image forming device is provided with voice outputting means 71 to 74 arranged in a plurality of parts in a main body 100. Abnormal part detecting means 41 to 48 and 49-a to 49-d for detecting abnormal parts when a paper jam or the other abnormality is generated inside the main body 100 are provided. At least one of a plurality of voice outputting means 71 to 74 is selected according to the abnormal part detected by the abnormal part detecting means 41 to 48 and 49-a to 49-d, and a message of a method for restoring work or alarm sound is generated to the selected voice outputting means. |
