PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance work efficiency of a user in a terminal equipment having a hardware keyboard together with a software keyboard. SOLUTION: This terminal equipment is provided with a software keyboard display judging means 4 to judge whether the software keyboard is displayed on a display means 3 or not and a hardware keyboard depression judging means 1 to judge whether a key is depressed or not. When the key of the hardware keyboard is judged to be depressed by a user, the display of the software keyboard is erased and information on the software keyboard and others are displayed by a software keyboard display control means 2.
