PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording and reproducing device which requires no excess storage area or processing and in which rearrangement of the reproducing order of recorded audio data is done by a simple operation. SOLUTION: The device is provided with a flash memory 2, which is capable of recording a plurality of audio data, a CPU1, which controls the data so that the data are reproduced in a prescribed order, and an operation member 6, which selects one data among the plurality of audio data. The CPU1 moves the reproducing order of the data selected by the member 6 to a prescribed position.
