PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combustion type rice cooker that allows a reduction in cost and easy adjustments of the amount of combustion in a burner. SOLUTION: This combustion type rice cooker includes a casing 3 with a pot mounting part 2 in which a rice boiling pot 1 is freely removably inserted, and a burner 5 mounted inside the casing 3 for heating the rice boiling pot 1 mounted in the pot mounting part 2. The burner 5 is supplied with primary air for combustion as fuel is ejected in its fuel inflow part 5a, and is provided with an air feeding means 6 for feeding secondary air for combustion into the burner 5 and for feeding cooling air to parts to be cooled inside the casing 3, and a stopper 13 for stopping the air fed by the air feeding means 6 from flowing into the fuel inflow part 5a.
