PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a woody resin composition which can mix a cellulosic material and a thermoplastic plastic material uniformly and efficiently in a short time. SOLUTION: A gelatinous woody resin composition is produced by a process in which 60 wt.% of powdery PB sander dust as a cellulosic material and 40 wt.% of a mixture of PP, PE, and ABS as a thermoplastic plastic material are charged in an agitation blade type mixer 1 and agitated for about 25 sec. In the mixer 1, since the materials 4 are agitated by four agitation blades 13b, 13c, 13d, 13e while being led to the middle of a chamber 11, the scattering of the sander dust in the chamber 11 is inhibited, and the collision frequency between the dust and the plastic material is increased so that the dust can be mixed into the molten plastic material efficiently in a short time.
