PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the fluctuation of drain current to be supplied to an OLED(organic LED) for a back-channel phenomenon and a short channel effect in the case of adopting thin film transistors having bottom gate structure in order to drive the light mitting elements provided for every pixel of a display device. SOLUTION: In a TFT, a source S, a channel Ch and a train D becoming the path of a current which is to be supplied to an OLED are formed in a semiconductor thin film 4. The channel Ch controls a current flowing through the path in accordance with a signal which is impressed on a gate electrode 2 and it suppl the controlled current is supplied from the drain D to the PLED. Moreover, in the TFT, a conductive film 8 for shield is arranged in order to interrupt the effect of an electric field to be generated from the drain to the OLED to stabilize the current to be supplied to the OLED. In addition to this, sufficient impurities are injected in the TFT in order to suppress the shortening of the effective length of the channel Ch accompanying the rising of the voltage of the train D and, thus, the current to be supplied to the OLED is more stabilized. |
