PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game device for giving variation of a virtual substance in a virtual space to a real space in a compound reality space. SOLUTION: In the game device in which a player as a real substance fight against a virtual substance, when shells shot by a player and a virtual substance are exploded, brightness of a display picture of a video see through type HMD (head-mounted display device) loaded by the player is flashed for a short time to give effect of flash accompanying explosion to a real substance (e.g. real substance in a game space). Such presence s obtained by the player that explosion is caused and the flash accompanying the explosion brightens real substances surrounding him.
