摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid a warp of a measure tape even when a temperature change occurs in a work environment by setting the separate measure tape to one of two relatively moving objects, fixing the tape at two points arranged via an interval in a longitudinal direction of the tape and elastically extending the tape in the longitudinal direction between the fixed points. SOLUTION: A position-measuring apparatus 27 is provided with a measure tape 29 held by a guide rail 3, and a sensor head 31 carried by a travelling body 7. The measure tape 29 is laid over the whole of the guide rail 3 and, the travelling body 7 has a relatively moving play space in a direction of an axis of the guide rail 3. When the travelling body 7 relatively moves to the guide rail, the sensor head 31 scans the measure tape 29 and sends a sensor signals via a measurement signal conductor 33 to an evaluation circuit 35 processed by a microprocessor. The measure tape 29 is fixed to the guide rail 3 at two points in a longitudinal direction, and elastically extends in the longitudinal direction between the fixed points.</p>
