PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the maintenance and control of an air cleaner to save the required cost, utilize the heat generated when an illuminator is turned on to dry a filter of the air cleaner and prevent the deterioration of the filter by using the air cleaner combined with the illuminator. SOLUTION: A pendant type lamp 1 can be combined with an air cleaner 2 of the type matching a shade of the lamp. Grooves and cuts are formed on the air cleaner 2 so that a filter 3 can be inserted into the air cleaner of the box shape with its four sides and the upper and the lower all sealed. At that time, the position of the filter 3 is determined by taking the sizes of a fan 4 and an instrument of the lamp body of the lamp 1 into consideration, and grooves are formed on the sites forming the boundary so that the filter 3 can be taken in and out. Also a plate section close to the lower center of the air cleaner 2 is cut in compliance with a passage in which hot air generated when the lamp 1 is made flow up to form an air intake of the air cleaner 2.
