PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a hinge member for a double-molded cable chain which member has excellent hinge properties by using a composition comprising polyamide 11 and/or polyamide 12 and a specific amount of a plasticizer. SOLUTION: A composition comprising 100 pts.wt. of polyamide 11 and/or polyamide 12 and 3-30 pts.wt. of a plasticizer is used. A polyamide resin obtained by copolymerizing each one of monomers for polyamide 11 and polyamide 12 can also be used. Examples for the plasticizer are benzenesulfonyl butylamide and an eater of p-hydroxybenzoic acid and a 6-21C straight or branched chain alcohol, e.g. 2-ethylhexyl-p-hydroxydibenzoate or the like. Preferably it is benzenesulfonyl butylamide. An example of this invention is a cable chain 1 comprising chain unit members 3 connected with hinge members 5.
