PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic playing system which is capable of strictly synchronizing the playing by an automatic playing piano and the playing by an electronic sound source with a simple constitution. SOLUTION: A sequencer calculates the time (delay time) required before strings are actually struck after hammers of the automatic playing piano are driven in accordance with the intensity of the musical tones of playing information for the automatic playing piano (S3) and calculates the time (drive time) obtained by making the respective musical tone output time of the playing information for the automatic playing piano earlier by the respective delay time (S4). When a playing start button is pressed ('YES' in S5), the point of this time is assumed to be 0:00:00:00 (S6)and the drive of the hammers based on the pitch of the musical tones and the intensity of the musical tone is commanded to the automatic playing piano at the respective drive time of the playing information for the automatic playing piano and the output of the electronic tones is commanded to the electronic sound source in accordance with the pitch of the musical tones and the intensity of the musical tone at the respective musical tone output time of the playing information for the electronic sound source. |
