PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an optical member which can be accurately and efficiently inspected even when a separator has a phase difference. SOLUTION: The optical member consists of an elliptically polarizing plate 1 produced by laminating a polarizing plate 11 and a phase difference plate 13, an adhesive layer 2 applied on the outer surface of the elliptically polarizing plate 1, and a separator 3 temporarily covering the adhesive layer 2. The crossing angle between the absorption axis of the polarizing plate and the lagging phase axis of the phase difference plate ranges 15 to 75 deg.. The crossing angle between the lagging phase axis of the phase difference plate and the lagging phase axis or advancing phase axis of the separator ranges 10 to 80 deg.. |
