<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the use of a thermal printing head in all of power supply voltages within a range supposed in a case using a battery as a power supply without increasing manufacturing cost. SOLUTION: A thermal printing head is equipped with a plurality of heating elements 2 generating heat to form an image on recording paper and an arbitrary number of driver ICs 3 for controlling the driving of the heating elements 2. In this case, if the head voltage applied to a plurality of the heating elements 2 is within a range of 2.7-8.5 V, it is possible to form an image on the recording paper and, if logic voltage applied to the driver ICs 3 is within a range of 2.7-5.5 V, it is possible to operate the driver ICs 3.</p> |
