PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner being sanitary and providing a sufficient cleaning efficiency by reducing exhaust from the cleaner. SOLUTION: In this vacuum cleaner in which air exhausted from a motor- driven fan in a cleaner body is made to flow back into the rotary brush compartment of a floor brush 54 via a hose 24 and extension pipes 40, 41, a floor brush body is formed with a guide hole 74 communicated with an exhaust reflow path (passage) to take in outside air.
