PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure strength of melt blow paper, and prevent leakage of dust/ dirt from end parts by arranging the melt blow paper between external facing paper and internal facing paper, and forming the whole as a bag-shaped body by applying an adhesive, after temporarily fixing these end parts by embossing to the fixing place. SOLUTION: A dust collecting filter is formed by adhering a bag-shaped body 4 and a support 5 having a circular opening part. The bag-shaped body is finished in a bag shape in such a way that a sheet-like material by superposing melt blow nonwoven fabric, internal facing paper 2 and external facing paper 3 is bent in a cylindrical shape, these end parts 7 are folded inside, a laterally long cylindrical end part 8 is adhered to be blocked up by being rolled inside, and this part is adhered. For example, when molded into a cylindrical body, after applying an adhesive to an embossing part formed in the end parts 7, the mutual end parts 7 are stuck together so as to be superposed to thereby reliably prevent leakage of dust/dirt from the embossing part of the end parts 7 to thus improve a pressure loss and sucking work efficiency.
