PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a background from being photographed more darkly in the case of electronic flash photographing, especially, in a wide room or in the open air with less illumination than in the conventional film unit with a lens. SOLUTION: This film unit with a lens provided with the built-in stroboscope incorporates film F having sensitivity ISO 400, is equipped with a diaphragm switching member 13 capable of switching the diaphragm values of photographing lenses L1 and L2 between an electronic flash photographing state and a normal photographing state, and is set so that the diaphragm value in the electronic flash photographing state is <=F8 and the capacitance of the main capacitor of the stroboscope is >=15μF and <=80μF.
