PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To safely, surely and easily transmit files outputted from plural computers connected through a LAN to a specified destination. SOLUTION: Plural shared holders 4a to 4c are previously set up in a specific computer 4 out of plural computers 1 to 4 connected through a LAN of an office and files outputted from respective computers 1 to 3 are stored in these holders 4a to 4c in each destination to which the file is to be transmitted. The specific computer 4 is connected to the computer to be the destination through an ISDN, monitors the existence of files in the shared holders at each monitoring interval, and when a file exists in the holder concerned, transfers the file to the set destination. Since a file outputted from a computer connected through the LAN in each destination is automatically transferred to a set destination, additional labor is not required and missending is not also generated, so that security also can be improved.
