SUSPENSION FOR TREATING HARD TISSUE AND PROSTHETIC APPLIANCE OF HARD TISSUE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a stable suspension for treating a hard tissue. SOLUTION: This suspension for an ultrasonic treatment of a natural hard tissue such as dentin, dental enamel, tartar and dental cementum comprises 5-45 wt.% hard particles, 4-45 wt.% at least one polyhydric alcohol and 0.1-10 wt.% dispersant and thickener. The suspension having the composition can be stored and transported without the risk of the sedimentation of the hard particles. The suspension forming a concentrated material capable of being sent is diluted with an adequate amount of water during an actual ultrasonic treatment to provide the immediately usable suspension.
