PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detergent composition excellent in solubility and detergency, and having a high dirt-removing effect. SOLUTION: This detergent composition comprises containing a high bulk density detergent particle cluster having a 95%-disolving time (a time required for dissolving 95% of the cluster) of <=120 sec when measured at 10 deg.C according to an electrically-conductive method, wherein the high bulk density detergent particle cluster comprises a cluster of high bulk density detergent particles containing a surfactant and a dirt-removing agent.
