PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for simultaneously prevent concrete from whitening due to efflorescence and from blackening due to microorganismal propagation. SOLUTION: This method of treating concrete surface comprises spraying a solution 14 via a nozzle 16 on the air-exposed surface 12 of a concrete structure 10 constructed, after (or immediately after) removing a formwork after developing the mechanical strength of concrete placed into the formwork; wherein the solution 14 contains either one ingredient among efflorescence inhibitor, antibacterial agent, antifungal agent and anti-algal agent or a mixture as any combination thereof, the efflorescence inhibitor is selected from either one of fluorides, fluorohydrides, silicofluorides, carbonate compounds, bicarbonate compounds, carboxylic acids and carboxylate compounds or mixtures thereof, each forming a water-insoluble stable compound by chemical reaction with calcium hydroxide, and is prepared in the form of an aqueous solution.
