PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plate stock conveying device capable of improving a cycle time without delay in the case of carrying away a plate stock even in a short working time. SOLUTION: This device is provided with plural plate stock holding and running bodies 25 which freely circulate along a track 24 between a plate stock working machine 1 and a plate stock housing region 2 with the plate stock held. The next plate stock is carried away from the plate stock working machine 1 to the plate stock housing region 2 by another plate stock holding and running body 25 while the plate stock is carried away from the plate stock working machine 1 to the plate stock housing region 2 by one or more plate stock holding and running bodies 25 among these plate stock holding and running bodies 25. A sheet of small product plate stock W3 is carried away by the single plate stock holding and running body 25 and also a sheet of large base stock plate W1 is carried in by cooperation of plural plate stock holding and running bodies.
