PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the dischargeability of a toner from a vessel and to supply an adequate amount of the toner little by little to a developing part by specifying the volume average particle diameter of the toner and the cumulative values of specified particles. SOLUTION: The electrophotographic toner has >=6.0 μm volume average particle diameter, the cumulative value of particles whose particle diameter is 1/2 time the number average particle diameter is <=10 number% and the cumulative value of particles whose particle diameter is >=1.5 time the volume average particle diameter is <=15 vol.%. The adhesive strength of one particle of the toner is preferably <=3.0 dyne per one contact point. The toner preferably contains silica provided with hydrophobic property and/or titania provided with hydrophobic property as a fluidity improver. Since the toner is less liable to stick to the inner wall of a housing vessel, the dischargeability of the toner from the housing vessel in an image forming device is high, the toner is sufficiently supplied to a developing part and the amount of the toner remaining in the vessel is extremely reduced. The toner is effectively used in an AV bottle. |
