PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To treat the growth hormone relevant disorder caused by the deficit of growth hormone by supplying a polynucleotide sequence encoding growth hormone releasing hormone or modified growth hormone releasing hormone to animals. SOLUTION: The growth hormone relevant disorder caused by the deficit of growth hormone in animals is treated by including a polynucleotide sequence encoding growth hormone releasing hormone or modified growth hormone releasing hormone in a carrier, e.g. a DNA vector, a virus vector, liposome or lipofectin, permissible as a medicine and supplying it to animals consisting of domestic animals, e.g. human being, dog, cat, cattle, pig, horse and chicken. It is desirable to use a substance obtained by functionally linking a nucleotide regulatory sequence controlling the expression of polynucleotides with the above polynucleotide sequence. |
