PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high intensity lamp for lighting a wide area by gathering and integrally forming reflectors with one another individually provided on many light emitting diode(LED) chips and further providing an outer ring thereof with a reflector and a lens. SOLUTION: LED chips are each provided with a reflecting surface to emit the light from each chip to the front and they are gathered to obtain a bright lamp with less variations. The LED chips 6 are each mounted on a lead frame having a reflector 7. They are close gathered and fixed with transparent resin, and their front surfaces are each formed into a convex lens shape. Light emitting effect is enhanced by further providing a reflecting surface on an outer ring. In place of the lead frame, it is possible to use a ceramic, porcelain enamele, or aluminum substrate, or a clad substrate having an electrode part made of metal, a reflecting surface made of resin, and an electrode fixing portion made of resin. Because the light from the LED chips can be efficiently emitted to the front ad close gathered, a wide area can be lighted brightly, and this lamp has a possibility of replacing a tungsten lamp and a fluorescent lamp. |
