METHOD FOR CONTROLLING VARIABLE CAPACITY COMPRESSOR AND CONTROL VALVE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control valve and method for controlling a variable capacity compressor capable of restraining hysteresis and improving responding performance and control accuracy. SOLUTION: This control method for controlling a variable capacity compressor for controlling opening/closing of a valve 3 (valve means) utilizes thrust by a pressure-sensitive portion 10 (pressure response means) responding to differential pressure between intake pressure Ps of coolant introduced into the compressor and reference pressure PoA and by a solenoid portion 2. The valve 3 (valve means) is used to obtain crank case pressure Pc for changing a tilt angle of a swash plate by adjusting discharge pressure Pd of a coolant output from the compressor. The reference pressure PoA is obtained by the pressure- adjusted coolant.
