<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manual container for reducing garbage which can compress smoothly and surely a combustible refuse such as waste paper or the like with human power. SOLUTION: This container is provided with a garbage container 1, a casing 2 which a garbage container 1 is free to be carried in and out, and a compression cylinder 3 which has a two-split compression plate freely openable and closable at a lower edge thereof, and is elevated and lowered freely into a casing 2. A sectional shape of a compression cylinder 3 is made to be approximately similar to a section of a garbage container 1, and slightly smaller than a section of a garbage container 1. A guide mechanism of a compression cylinder 3 and a positioning mechanism of a garbage container 1 are installed so that a compression cylinder 3 can be elevated and lowered at a narrow interval between an exterior wall thereof and an interior wall of a garbage container 1. A constant force spring main body is fixed at the upper part of a casing 2 and the tip of a coil spring of a constant force spring is fixed at the lower part of a compression cylinder 3 so that a compression cylinder 3 exists at the upper part of a casing 2 at non-pressing, and a link mechanism is arranged so as to open and close a compression plate by a remote control and manual operation.</p> |
