PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a good recording image free from jitter by controlling at least one of the applied voltage and current supply time of a head pulse synchronized with an encoder pulse signal. SOLUTION: A control part 17 has an operation part 15 for operating at least one of the applied voltage and current supply time of a head pulse on the basis of the error of an actually measured value of the cycle of an encoder pulse signal with respect to a theoretical value. The head pulse is controlled on the basis of at least one of the applied voltage and current supply time operated by the operation part 15.
