SOLUTION: This is a driving method for the automatic guided vehicle (1) that one steering driving wheel (3) is arranged to each of the front and rear directions, caster type follower wheels (4) are provided on both sides across the driving wheel (3) in the rear direction of the front driving wheel (3) and in the front direction of the rear driving wheel (3) and the driving wheels (3) and the follower wheels (4) are bridged over a wheel frame (5) pivotally supported at a center of the back and forth directions like a see-saw. In this case, driving rotation of the driving wheels (3) are performed at low speed during switching steering to 90 degrees and switching steering to be returned from 90 degrees in the case of spin turn driving to make the unmanned carrier (1) spin around the center of the body by steering the front driving wheel (3) by 90 degrees in the right or left direction to a straight line to connect the front and rear driving wheels (3), steering the rear driving wheel (3) by 90 degrees to a straight line to connect the front and rear driving wheels (3) in the reverse direction and afterthat rotating both driving wheels.</p>
