PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To preferentially print a document which does not need much printing time in a network printer system. SOLUTION: This system has a printer server 5 which is equipped with a printing job management means 7 for holding printing jobs 2 and 4 uploaded from clients 1 and 3, a printing time estimating means 10 that calculates and estimates a printing time needed for the printing jobs 2 and 4, a printing time informing means 11 for informing the clients 1 and 3 of the estimated printing time of the printing jobs 2 and 4, and a printer 8 for executing printing of the printing jobs 2 and 4. Then, the network printer system is the one in which the clients 1 and 3, the printer server 5 and the printer 8 are mutually connected through the network.
