PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent breakage of an anchor strap and an outer tank base plate when an outer tank is thermally shrunk by providing an inner tank on a rigid material which is extended in the radial direction on the outer base plate and disposed in the circumferential direction, and connecting the inner tank side plate and the rigid material by the anchor strap. SOLUTION: A rigid material 12 extended in the radial direction of an inner tank 11 and disposed in the circumferential direction is provided on a cold insulator 7 on an outer tank base plate 3 and disposed in the circumferential direction is provided, and an inner tank side plate 9 and the rigid material 12 are connected to each other by an anchor strap 14. On the upper surface of the cold insulator 7, a stepped part 15 is formed along the peripheral edge part thereof. The rigid material 12 is disposed in the stepped part 15, the upper end face of the rigid material 12 and the upper end face of the cold insulator are flush with each other, and the inner tank base plate 8 is laid on the upper part. The rigid material 12 is provided with the inner tank 11 disposed on the upper part, and fixed by its dead load and the weight of the contained liquid. The outer peripheral end of the rigid material 12 is extended outside over the outer peripheral end of the inner tank base plate 8 and the rigid material 12 is formed of low temperature material.
