PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stable end tool capable of improving grounding performance of a grounding base when there are an inclination and a recess/projection in a using place of a stepladder. SOLUTION: This stable end tool 6 of a column is composed of an installing bracket 7 installed on the lower end of a column 4, a grounding base 8 provided with a pair of rising wall parts 19, 19 and a spherical intermediary member 9, the intermediary member 9 inserted between both projection parts 13, 13 of the installing bracket 7 is rotatably installed around a first support shaft 11 to the installing bracket 7 by the first support shaft 11 supported by both projection parts 13, 13, this intermediary member 9 is inserted between both rising wall parts 19, 19 of the grounding base 8, and the intermediary member 9 is rotatably installed around a second support shaft 12 to the grounding base 8 by the second support shaft 12 supported by both rising wall parts 19, 19 by extending in the direction orthogonal to the first support shaft 11.
