CENTRALIZED NON-INFILTRATION MONITORING SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DISTRIBUTED INDEPENDENT DATA NETWORK

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a centralized monitoring center that is provided with servers which can send mail via a common communication network and can manage a plurality of independent client networks. SOLUTION: Servers 220 of a client network 200 collect performance data indicating the operation and behavior of the network 200 over a fixed period and transfer the data to a monitoring center 205 in the form of a mail 250. The performance data are processed and displayed via the monitoring station 275 of the center 205 and are also made accessible from a common communication network. In addition, the network 200 is safely protected from infiltrations from the outside by limiting the monitoring of the network 200 to the monitoring of self-prepared messages only. The management of the network 200 can be executed from the monitoring center 205 of a network other than the network 200.
