PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a converter for reception for fetching a broadcast signal received by a plurality of antennas through one cable into a house. SOLUTION: This converter for reception is provided with a low noise amplifier 12 which amplifies reception radio waves received by an antenna or the like, a band pass filter(BPF) 13, a frequency converting circuit(mixer) 14, a local oscillator 15, amplifier 16, a band selecting filter (BPF) 17, and a mixer 18. A case body 10 of the converter for reception is provided with an input terminal Tin in a water preventing structure, and the reception signal of the other media inputted from the input terminal Tin is supplied through an amplifier 21 and a band pass filter 22 to a mixer 18. Therefore, output frequencies obtained by frequency-converting a received BS(CS) broadcast signal and a reception signal(VHF/UHF or the like) inputted from the input terminal Tin are frequency-multiplexed by the mixer 18, and outputted from an output terminal Tout, and VHF, UHF, and BS(CS) broadcast signals can be fetched through one cable into a house.
